Software Updates

A couple of my favourite programs have just released a new version:

• Window Media Player Classic . A lightweight multimedia player capable of playing files available on the web.
  
  
  
• YamiPod. A iTunes replacement, 3 flavours are available for the different OSes.
  
  
  

Ferarri on Pole

Schumi has done it again, he's on pole!! He now stands together with the legendary Ayrton Senna with 65 pole positions, after having his last pole in Hungary 2005 (!), congrats Mike.

It was a nice qualify sessions on Bahrein, although I've got to get a custom to the new qualifying sessions this year. I haven't seen Kimi in the qualify, and I'm really looking forward for the race tommorow.

Microsoft Origami Project unveils itself

The secrecy of the MS Origami project in unveiled. After seing the leaked video, I was very fond of the idea of connectivity. Especially in the age we are living in.

 

It's a Ultra-Mobile PC. It uses a version of the Windows XP Tablet PC Edition. I've never worked on one before, so I cannot give a personal experience of the OS. I dont know if this gadget will be accepted by the masses; I personally think looking at the price point, it's a gadget for tech minded. But $500 for a tablet PC is very appealing, I would consider buying one for myself :-P

Great Xbox Media Center Skin

I've just downloaded a great skin for XBMC (XBox Media Center), it's called XBMac.

F1 Season is starting

F1 season starts this weekend. I hope we'll be seing some action, like last year. I'm also looking forward what Ferrari's strategy is for this year. With Schumi & Massa riding their red machines hope they can challange the competition. As you well know the Renault's team are on the rise and its nice to see that Alonso received the title "World Champion" last year.

 

With a new team on the grid, I'm also eager to see them performs against the other experienced teams. This is gonna be a year to look forward to...
